Systems International and industrial designer Robert Taylor Whalen have
responded to this need with Jane!, an evolution of the Mandy! Family of seating.
Jane! has a controlled density molded foam seat and back for support and a slim
profile synchro tilt (2-1 ratio) with lock for ongoing adjustability. The
smoothness of this mechanism provides an excellent ‘ride’ and range. The
concealed back elevation mechanism adjusts while seating, fitting all shapes and
sizes.
Soft touch arm pads support the forearm and wrist; adjustable arms and seat adjustment mechanisms are a few of many options enhancing Jane!’s ability to respond.
Visually, Jane!, has inherited Mandy’s graceful form and shape. This seating has a softer appearance with no stitching detail on seat and back and a durable composite plastic outside back. These subtleties make Jane! An economical task chair for today’s electronic office.
